Dr. Prados has 12 years experience in the application of satellite remote sensing to air pollution monitoring. She currently manages the NASA Applied Remote Sensing Training Program, where she develops courses worldwide on the application of satellite imagery to environmental decision-making activities related to climate change, water resources, disaster, land, and air quality management. She has +10 years of environmental policy experience working with local governments on the implementation of local and regional climate and air pollution initiatives. She has also coordinated multiple workshops for federal agencies on how to assess the benefit of Earth Science information and improve stakeholder collaboration.
Dr. Prados is interested in environmental policy-making in the context of water resources management and climate change, air quality policy, program/project evaluation, and communicating scientific information to the public.
